​​​​​​​​​​​​​Izzy Joy delivers a genre-bending blend of pop and soul, driven by heartfelt lyrics and a powerful vocal presence. Her stripped-back duo set pairs acoustic guitar with piano, creating an intimate space where the storytelling truly takes center stage.

Friday, September 4th

​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Big Apple Meets The Motor City. Stylistically, raw, soulful, pop rock with influences from Amy Winehouse, Frank Sinatra, The White Stripes, and other artists known for embracing the history of music while molding it into something new. 

​4:30pm - Michigan State Fair Home Brew Competition Award Ceremony

​5:00pm - 8:00pm - ​Jill Jack Band

Jill Jack’s decades-spanning career has carried her across the globe. Blending folk, rock, country, and blues, her sound is as dynamic as it is authentic—driven by vivid storytelling.

The Gud Band is a high-energy live band known for electrifying crowds with their soulful sound, smooth vocals, and top tier musicianship. Based in Detroit, they bring a fresh yet nostalgic vibe, blending R&B, funk, soul, gospel and modern hits into unforgettable performances.

Brett Lucas is an award-winning guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer, who started his career at a young age performing in Detroit’s Blues scene. Brett has performed on stages across the world including the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Byron Bay Blues Festival (Australia), Carnegie Hall and on many TV appearances including Late Night with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Austin City Limits among others.
